I've cleared the decks for a new project

I was going to show you that I haven't given up on the knitting yet

Then yesterday Postman Dave brought me a parcel

So after hanging the washing out

Tidying round the kitchen

Clearing my desk

I finally managed to open it

Inside it is a lovely creative project in a box
called This Hour of Mine by The Linen Garden

The idea is to give yourself some time to be creative.
You are given some guidelines but basically can create whatever
you like with its contents

You'll have to wait till next week to see any results
as I will be faffing about with all the treasures for a while haha.

In the meantime lets have a look at what everyone else is upto
over at Julia's place

  4. Can imagine me just drooling over the contents of that box for ages. I don't sew but was tempted by some fat quarters in The Works of all places.
Thanks for the journey through your day, and your home - really enjoyed how you set this post out - clever girl!
Hugs & Thanks for visiting me

  6. What a lovely idea that parcel is. I aim to have at least an hour of being creative every day (don't always make it though). Plus I am working hard to lessen my huge box of fabric scraps....every time I use some it seems to fill again lol.
It's a big day here today for our little fur baby....she's just gone for her first hair cut....and I'm missing her already. I plan to do a before and after post on Friday so keep a look out.
    Hugs,

  7. Hehe! You're a lot more patient than me. If I'd have received a parcel like that I'd have thought "sod the housework!" and got stuck in!
What a fab idea. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
Love, love, love the outfit! xxx

  17. Happy WOYWW. I 'nearly' got our washing line out of the garage earlier this week, but definitely back to using the tumble dryer and heated airer again. We have a few days of rain/gales forecast. You really kept us on the edges of our seats waiting to see what was in the parcel. Gorgeous contents and I look forward to seeing what you do with it. The view from your craft table is amazing. Ali x #27
